Last night Caitlin had a real babysitter for the first time. Meaning, one that wasn't a friend or family. I was of course extremely nervous, especially since Caitlin cried and screamed when Anna the super nanny walked through the door. I couldn't believe it. We hired this babysitter through a service and when she showed up she was seriously every mother's dream nanny. She was dressed in gap clothing I think, super prepped out, told me that she is getting her Master's at the Citadel to be an English professor, and she jumped right in to taking care of Caitlin. Once Caitlin stopped screaming that is!
I wanted to call every 10 minutes since leaving the house, but I managed to hold off for 2 hours. Steve and I ate dinner at the Riverview restaurant, which looks over Charleston harbor. Beautiful view. We had a great time and when we returned, Super Nanny told us that Caitlin did not cry once. I was shocked because sometimes I feel like my child cries all the time! I was so proud that she was a good girl. My little angel!
